A newly introduced friend was telling me about his micro-blogging site:

Looked interesting and worth exploring. Do check it out. Infact, I will see if he can respond to this blog and explain a bit more about his site.

Getting tired of Micro Blogging
I am getting tired of Micro Blogging services. I feel they give too little an opportunity for me to write anything. And I kind of feel I am imposing myself on others to read about my views. All those people following you ... do they really care what I do? So, there is this pressure on me to write as briefly as possible which is kind of boring. As I tend to do a lot more activity in a single day that will generate too much activity on a micro-blog.
Fixing water leaks and Handymen
I have been spending a lot of money fixing water leaks. This recent handyman charged me $100/hr and fixed this within about 1.5 hours. I thought his rate was high, but he did a fine job. If you ever need a good handyman that has over 30 years of experience, contact:
Arvid's Handyman Service
San Jose, CA
I also know of another fine Handyman I have been using for years. His rate is much lower. If you need his contact, let me know.

Handling online payments
I did some investigation recently on online payments for a non-profit company I was volunteering, and narrowed the two services that I like the most:
1. PayPal
2. Google Checkout
I should say I like PayPal more than Google Checkout. Although Google Checkout is actually cheaper and easier to setup. But I did not see a Virtual Terminal facility here.
In PayPal you could accept payments using Phone, Fax or Email in addition to online at a small monthly cost of $30/mo. So this is a good feature to have if you are a merchant.

Forwarding emails from gmail
I observed that I cannot forward multiple emails from my gmail account. I tried creating a filter and clicked on the checkbox that applies the filter rule to all the emails. But the filter does not really apply to old emails. So I tried making these emails "New" or "Unread" and that still did not seem to do the trick.
I like the idea of using one gmail account so I can check the emails from my iPhone, but I also need the flexibility to forward a bulk set of emails once in a while to my personal mailbox, as I don't want to rely on gmail in the very long run. Besides it has a limit of 6 GB, so I am sure, I will need more space eventually.

Clicking links in my iPhone Safari
Another thing that frustrates me about my iPhone Safari browser. Sometimes when I click on a link it says, it cannot pop-up the browser. Why can't I click on a link?
Using Blogger from iPhone
I observed that the main body of this blog cannot be edited using my iPhone Safari browser. This is kind of frustrating. I probably need to research this.
